To register your organisation please complete the form, you will then have access to the assessment area.


Please note, if you sign up and use the HYBF? self-assessment, your results and your organisation's details will be recorded and accessible to the site administrators. The information will be viewed by NHS Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire County Council and their partners to inform their on-going work to support local organisations in promoting mental health at work.

If you supply your email address, it may be used from time to time to provide you with information to help you promote mental wellbeing in your workplace. If you do not wish to be contacted in this way, please omit your email address from the sign-up form.

Every effort will be made to protect the information held. It will be retained for a maximum period of three years, after which, if it has not been updated, it will be deleted. To maintain your data, visit the site and update your self-assessment routinely. You also have the option to retain a copy of your results by printing a summary report at the end of the self-assessment each time you work through it. Please note that the accuracy of the information held is the responsibility of the user entering the data, and not the site administrator.

SHIFT ... Shifting Attitudes to Mental Health

Shifting attitudes to mental illness. Shift is an initiative to tackle stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health issues in England. Our aim is to create a society where people who experience mental health problems enjoy the same rights and opportunities as other people. Please note that the SHIFT website came to end on March 31st 2011. However the SHIFT website will remain online until at least 2013. It is recommended that materials of interest be downloaded to make sure you have continued access to information.

Mindful Employer Line Managers Resource

Managing and Supporting Mental Health at Work: disclosure tools for managers

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development carried out a survey of 2,000 people in employment in the UK which revealed that despite more than a quarter (26%) of employees having experienced a mental health problem while in employment, too few employers are taking positive steps to manage this increasingly business critical issue.
